Thea Nielsen plays an ALTUS 1607

For many years, Thea’s busy career as soloist, chamber musician, masterclass teacher, and recording artist has brought her to Australia, USA, Asia and all over Europe. Married to an Iranian, she has discovered her passion for Persian Literature and Music. She studied the Persian flute „Ney“ for several years and mystical poetry in Paris. Her flute teachers include Wieland Roscher, Thomas Prévost, Jean-Pierre Rampal and Trevor Wye. Currently, Thea teaches at Fanny Hensel Music School and Leo Kestenberg Music School in Berlin.
