Cezary Traczewski

Cezary Traczewski plays a platinum plated ALTUS PS

I was always a fan of ALTUS. For many years I played on an gold plated ALTUS 1607. But the platinum plated ALTUS "PS" I am playing today is the perfect flute for me: the possibilities of sound and resonance, the brilliant articulation and an enormous range of tone colours are giving me the possibility to do everything I want in my music playing. There is no comparable instrument for me!

Cezary Traczewski obtained his degree in flute performance  from University Wroclaw and completed his graduate studies in Sion, Switzerland with Peter-Lukas Graf.  He also attended masterclasses with P. Brock, E. Brunner and K. Thunemann in Germnay. Traczewski has performed as soloist and chamber musician all over Poland, Germany and Switzerland and has recorded for many TV and Radio performances in Poland and abroad. From 1981 and 1997 he was principal flutist in the opera orchestra Wroclaw. Furthermore, he is professor for flute at the conservatory in Wroclaw. Among his students are winners of the most prestigious international competition like the young  renowed flutist Lukasz Długosz.
